Has anyone tried the demo out and what are your thought's on it? (My apologies if there's already a thread like this)

I gave it a shot and liked it allot, so much that I went to pre-order it off steam to see it went up £5 in 24 Hours >.< .

I didn't know they released a demo. I'll have to try it out since I loved the first two games.

Been playing for a bit and I must say that the new army hierarchy system works very well. The AI when you give large armies commands isn't spectacular, but it seems sufficient for basic defensive work and such.

i cant even play hearts of iron 2 i have no idea what to do even with the tutorials! but it was fun kinna but i always loose. thanks for the post im gonna try it.

Is there some secret trick to help me understand all the confusing knobs and buttons?  I mean, I have got the general gist down, (I liked the tutorial, it was funny), but still, I fell a bit abandoned in a sea of confuzzlement.

What kind of help do you need?

The combat is the same as HoI2, the biggest change is on Diplomacy and Politics, Laws etc.

Theres supply rutes.. you should protect them at all coast.

Right now im at 50% of the Download so i wont be able to answer the supply problem whatever.


How is the Demo.. Scenario? what?

It's the first blitzkrieg, Invasion of Poland.  One can be Germany, The UK, France or Poland, from September 1939 to 1940, I believe.

You can only play 4 months. I thought the tutorial was pathetic compared to HoI2's the tutorial doesn't allow you to try things out or give you task's like in the previous title's.

I've already crashed once and I hope it won't be a common occurrence.

Interesting. I'm downloading though the mirror is really slow at a rate of 60kb. I just fear a lack of improvements and innovations in HoI3. Well, we'll see.
