So, what are you suggesting now, that we write fake stories where we state how awesome you are to work with?

Protip: study something usefull and you have a job before you graduate. Do something healthcare related, or mechanics/electrics. They are also always looking for cleaners/waiters if you don't have the correct diploma.

If you want a job, you have a job within a week.

Wait... Abuzer is your real name?

If it sounds the same way in Dutch as in English, that's pretty epic. Unfortunately I'm not (yet) affiliated with LinkedIn, or I would try to offer my help...

Wait... Abuzer is your real name?

No wonder he can't get a job!  ;D

Btw, I'd help but I don't use LinkedIn... (yet)
This sentence is intentionally left unfinished...

Hahaha I had the same realization, Lightning.

I will see what I can do Abuzer. I remember you have a Political Science degree. That will make it tougher to find a job outside of the Government sphere.

Edit: Ah it seems we are already 3rd degree connections.

Edit2: Okay done, History, Politics and for some reason I think you do well at public speaking.

I'm takin' my freedom
puttin' it in my stroll

Yes, I am serious. In Belgium there are jobs everywhere if you want to see them and are not focussed on some very small section of the jobmarked like most people do where there are maybe 10 openings a year.

How I got my job: Send 1 Email, get an invitation, do the exam they give me, have a 2 hour interview, sign the contract the same day. Wage? €2200 Bruto a month. Time between email and first day? 6 weeks, could have been sooner but I told them I was going on a ski trip first.

Once you have work, it is time to look for better work, that is what I am doing now. I have all the time in the world then to find a better thing.

I don't understand why people always try to find the perfect job on the first attempt, having an income as soon as possible is what counts. Do you think it is a good impression that they see that you are unemployed so much?

My Girlfriend, she studies nursing, she passed her first year, she has a weekend job in a hospital, She only asked 1 hospital, no need to ask more since she was more then welcome to help.

Become an entrepreneur, that's what I did.

If I find myself with nothing better to do next week I'll see if I can help you out.

@siben - No, those fake stories are called recommendations. Endorsements are a lighter form, and already done by just a mouseclick.
And yes, nowadays I regularly think: Shit, should have done more IT-courses! But hey, no backsies in real life

So yeah, if we could combine the cumulative powers of this board on LinkedIn, we could maybe get a better career profile, that's something at least. And yeah, I'll take the waiter job as well in a couple of weeks when necessary.

@most of the people WTF! Abuzer is a real name ? crowd
;D Kurdish first name, go figure ey

@NTH
Your name makes some sense now

Even entrepreneurship takes a handsome profile in certain businesses, especially practical since it could be done in a minute  :-*
