Title: Wounded effect and blur effect are not working.
Post by: Bobob on 16-04-2012, 16:04:51
First, I'll say i'm sorry for my horrible english because I'm French. You know ? Baguette, baguette, ohohoh, and so on...

Second, the wounded effect and the suppressive fire's effect are not working. And it's really annoying because, you get wounded and bleed to death without seeing it (you only hear some Aaaargh, Uuurgh). Or you hear some clac tac clac near you and then you die because you don't go behind cover.

Therefore please, help me you are my last hope.

My computer is a msi gt780 with a i7, a nvidia gt560m, 6Gigabytes of Ram and a 64bit operating system and i didn't add other mods to BF2.

I'll also add that the effects used to work on my old computer.

Well, now I have x32 anti-alieasing but there are still no wounded or blurry effects.

I deleted the shader cache too.

The nvidia gt560m could be the root of the problem here.
Most people with Nvidia seem to have problems with the wounded shaders.

Most people with Nvidia seem to have problems with the wounded shaders.

While most people with ATI seem to have problems with suppression shaders.  ::)

Yeah... an uncool world we live in.
I which those two companies would get their act together and help the devs repair the shader issues.

The father of my nvidia must be an ATi because both effects don't work.  ;D
