I can't download your map without creating an account on that site, can you upload it elsewhere?

Hey man i had a quick look at your map and really like it so far! I guess all the american equipment are ment to be placeholders? Really like the terrain, rolling hills, roads and paths. Though i kinda wonder why you only chose the "green" type of conifers, maybe it would be nice to mix in some frozen or "white" ones so it doesn't get boring for the eyes. Also the jagdpanther in the german mainbase seems to be bugged since you can enter it as ally.
Keep up the good work!

Hi,

yes, the american equipment will be replaced after East front release. At the moment it's just placeholder.
About green conifers... I took this decision because on all reference photos that I saw the weather was muddy and warmly..not real winter.
About jagdpanther... probably I forgot to lock it. will fix it.

I suppose he is, since he was a BGF singleplayer dev. And BGF singleplayer is pretty smooth, I must say.

Had a play around, really good quality map, looks FH2 standard. The only issue that I found was the old graphics card black terrain spot bug, which strangely doesn't happen when I play FH2, only vanilla BF2. I'll leave people more qualified to give feedback to do so.

This map looks very well made at a glance & i can tell allot of time and effort has went into this map.

I will post a detailed review by Sunday.

Downloaded it and had a look, my first impressions are it's nice and actually feels like the Eastern Front(regardless of the Normandy statics). Didn't have time to look about but I one thing I'd say is add fast moving transport for both sides.

Map: Operation Sonnenwende
Author: Aserafimov
Armies: Soviet Union (USA placeholder) vs Germany
Flags: 7 - 5 Capable
Commander Radio: None

Map is very well made. Nice spacing of flags. City of Sallenthin feels like a city when you spawn.

Observations:
- Spawn at D2 seems pointless
- More mobile vehicles needed. (APC, Jeep)
- SP is very well done & allot of fun.
- Germans may need another tank or 2 at Main, but "Live Test" is required.

Comments:

-This map (In My Opinion) is better made than the French Hope map "Stonne" that i helped test last year.

-Someone schedule a "THURSDAY NIGHT EVENT" so this can be tested properly.

-Good Job Aserafimov. Is this your 1st map or are there others?

A FH2 Dev needs to talk to this guy.........he has talent......
