My class went to visit to the local museum the other day... Much better than sitting in the classroom.
The exhibition is largely dedicated to the history and folklore of my hometown. So we have seen some interesting exhibits such as the tools that were used a hundred of years ago, some Roman amphorae, local music instruments, a scaled replica of the local mine (the last time I went there I was in elementary school and could walk upright through the tunnels, lol).
There was also a small part dedicated to the local partisans who fought against fascism. Among a few rifles (which I didn't manage to get a closer look at) there were a Breda MG and a Browning on a tripod (and our host told they were both Italian made Bredas, what a noob
). He also misplaced the Italian Beretta SMG as the "famous British Thompson", and told us an interesting little story about the British Sten gun. He said that it was prone to randomly firing all the bullets in the magazine if dropped on the ground... I'd like to know if that story is true, and I know you guys can tell me...
