Sleeping Dogs

Sleeping Dogs anyone.
GTA kind of game, with free running aspects.
Set in Hong Kong, you, an undercover cop, must work yourself up in the triads, playing missions for triads and police.

A few impressions from me after 5 hours of playtime:

- Runs better then GTA IV on my laptop with everything High
- Free running through Hong Kong urban environment is like a Jackie Chang movie. Running through a kitchen, sliding over the kitchen counter and jumping through a window. It is in the game.
- The fight system has more depth to it then GTA IV
- The environment is richly detailed and a joy to play in.

Sleeping dogs is really a sleeper hit.

I'm definitely going to buy this at some point. Few observations from the demo and videos:
- Melee combat can't be even compared to GTA. It feels more like Assassin's Creed with more aggressive enemies. (They don't always wait in line to fight you :p )
- Gun combat feels better than in GTA.
- The game is gorgeous.
- Hong Kong looks and feels incredible.
- The PC-port is one of the better ones.

played it yesterday. I found it : Boring, action is fun the first battle, after that very repetitive, driving is ridiculous. Sry, i give it a 6.5 at most.

It is a refined True Crime series from Activision. It is their take on Rockstar's GTA. Played True Crime: L.A., and nevertheless, had mixed feeling about it.

Environment wise, meh, Mafia series is better, but Mafia have less interactivity.
Gun combat, perhaps it is one of the best.
Melee/hand-to-hand, yeah that's the main point of these series
Driving, still, Mafia is the best.

Bought it, played it for 6 hours straight and I think it is rather good if you just want to play without thinking to much.
