FH2 Help / Support / Rotation frameskip

What causes this? It seems independent of software settings (game, Windows, GPU), and GPU hardware. Also tried different displays, interconnects, BIOS & settings, mice, OS (7 & 10), and more. Even binary compared to the standalone - everything matched but RendDX9x2.dll but replacing that had no affect.

Bug Reporting / Dulka Pass audio

On Dukla Pass only, the audio occasionally screeches during actual multiplayer (intense action?) for some time (up to thirty seconds or until calmed action?). Using X-Fi hardware.

During a recent game, Americans occupied the upper floors of a building on the SE side of the river, firing from windows upon the Germans after they had captured and crossed the bridge northwards. I did not see a way to reach them, even after checking it out later. They did similarly from behind a wall on the NE side of the river. How are those positions reached?

What would cause FH1 to crash upon map load on W7 64-bit  (popup error on BF1942.exe)? Neither BF1942 nor other mods crash and even the original Berlin map will load in FH1. I did try reinstalling and even reducing compatibility mode from XP SP2 to 98/ME (interestingly, it limits max resolution to 960 rather than 1050).

Also, is there some modern graphics option that should be disabled to avoid a semi-transparent effect -especially to buildings?

With BF2, I have always overridden with 16xAF since horrible quality in-game, and since AMD Adaptive AA was introduced have applied that as well. Since FH2.4, I have applied MSAA rather than in-game, but only 2x due to relatively high resolution of 1920x1080. I have always used shadows at low due to poor results even at high. But I recall coming across some blurb about possible changes to shadows so wonder if there has been any improvement, particularly for AMD. Also, kudos for the aspect-ratio correction of the HUD with 2.45 that EA couldn't be arsed with.

If I had more details I would post in Bug Reporting but then again I am not sure if it is strictly an FH2 problem or not... Sometimes (perhaps on certain maps), it seems that all deaths are heard as being relatively close by when they are not (constant stream of grunts and ughs). Most recently an entire round of The Battle For Sfakia suffered this and I recall it being the same before. Plain BF2 has never been like this but since the 1.50 patch, I have heard the same on one or two of the "new" maps  (previously expansions) at certain times. The audio hardware is an X-Fi DSP with the latest drivers including OpenAL (replacing default wrapper). Settings are Ultra High and of course Game mode and CMSS-3D with filters on Auto.

So, is anyone else experiencing this, what is the cause, and is there a solution?
