Maybe it has something to with the server switching to and fro between FH2 and PR? That it didn't get picked up while it was playing PR?
That server is running two BF2 sessions simultaneously on different ports.

123.150.200.62:16567 is PR

123.150.200.62:16569 is FH

People driving commander vehicle away while commander is in backseat, F@U  >:(

See how M203 behaves in vanilla, even DICE cannot make it possible firing 2 types of bullets simultaneously.

Get it. So rather cut down the explosion of 75mm HEAT a bit

Bug Reporting / US 105mm Howitzer's HEAT Shell
« on: 07-02-2011, 13:02:53 »
It lacks an explosion effect, and has a tiny explosion damage that cannot kill a soldier with full health standing 3 metres away. Much too ridiculous IMO. Did Americans fill their HEAT shells with tiny amount of powder?

This is what I find in mod:
Code: [Select]
105mmL25-HEAT-Remote-Projectile

ObjectTemplate.detonation.explosionMaterial 69
ObjectTemplate.detonation.explosionRadius 10
ObjectTemplate.detonation.explosionForce 5
ObjectTemplate.detonation.explosionDamage 66
ObjectTemplate.detonation.endEffectTemplate e_bhit_tankshell_apc_end
ObjectTemplate.detonation.useMMOnEndEffect 1
ObjectTemplate.detonation.detectionRadius 1.5
ObjectTemplate.detonation.maxDepthForExplosion 2
Code: [Select]
75mmL24-HEAT-Projectile

ObjectTemplate.detonation.explosionMaterial 69
ObjectTemplate.detonation.explosionRadius 7.5
ObjectTemplate.detonation.explosionForce 3.75
ObjectTemplate.detonation.explosionDamage 300
ObjectTemplate.detonation.endEffectTemplate e_exp_claymore
ObjectTemplate.detonation.useMMOnEndEffect 1
ObjectTemplate.detonation.detectionRadius 1.5
ObjectTemplate.detonation.maxDepthForExplosion 2
It appears that a 75mm HEAT from PzIII.N do 4.5 times more damage than a 105mm HEAT

We can, but these are supposed to be moves pertinent to combat. Running backwards that fast is'nt pertinent.

I think here it isnt about what is possible, but what is hardcoded. Is the speed of backward-walking hard-coded?
You can specific the speed of running/jogging/walking/crouching/crawling but the speed of those movements in any direction is always the same

One proper solution to top/deck armour is, to make them deflect any AP shells while very vulnerable to HEAT warheads. Hence we can still piat, zook, shreck any big cats from church tower.

I think devs coded the cupola kill to simulate killing the commander so the blow up, cause BF2 engine doN,t have crews.
Then I want to one shot a Churchill by putting a 75mm AP into its copula, or cupola kill a Sherman using 50mm AP. The cupola thing is one side biased

The newly introduced StuG IV has weakpoint on its commander copula, which allowed it to be one shot by Allied 75mm gun to the front. It is a round shaped hitbox like a pancake on top of a tank so it does not matter with any impact angle and engine limitation. The PzIII copula issue have been already pointed out long before 2.3 release, but being ignored and the same issue continues on StuG IV.  Therefore it is neither a glitch nor a flaw, perhaps one certain person intentionally code it and think it is logical to blow up 20t of metal through that way.

Don't take it too serious people. This is exactly an intended exploit video that isn't worth watching. :-\

and you really can't go wrong with Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack (The Dark Knight and Inception if I heard right, was there more?)
Correct, plus one from COD:MW2 at 1:40, again Hans Zimmer (I help kingtiger do the upload therefore I know ;))

Do we have 37mm Gun M3 for US? We can see American rookies firing 37mm desperately at PzIVs just like PaK38 vs Matilda ;)
