And the Mg42 with its 50 rounds and 1400 RPM is also balanced compared to the Bren since you cant fire it standing up though you could. And this is okay.

My Opinion on the matter...

It's really weird for a westener such as myself to imagine how an armed militia could just waltz around freely and take over random buildings. Why doesn't Ukraine's police or military intervene?

Becaue reight now its probably not sure who is in charge. And an Intervention of the military or even police is difficult against an armed militia. Also a violent intervention poses a a righer risk for escaltion (up to a war) than non violent actions.

But not until the devs allow the tank "commanders" in the commander hatches to duck... (seriously, how hard is to add that???) :P

Do you mean actually having a head sticking out of the hatch if you re using the current standard view? But than if you duck what do you see, the devs would have to mod the interior of the tanks.

First its not really possibly because of Engine limitations.

Second it probably wouldnt be awesome. Imagine you need the 5 people for every tank, you couldnt have anything else apart from some tanks on a map since there are not enough players.
Also I dont want to coordinate 5 random people to controll a tank.

And what do you want to achieve by this post in the first place? Do you honestly believe that there will be some major changes in gameplay these days? The pace of development is slow enough.

Hiroo Onoda passed away yesterday, aged 91.

Exept the general approach. I can understand that you devs want to keep an absolute unique game. And of course FH will always be that.

But its far from unrealistic to compare the two projects. It really looks like they have much in common. Shared developers and a obviously shared fanbase are two strong indications.

There are way less developers left everyone is waiting for the next patch with new armys vehicles weapons. Many are complaining about big gameplay issues.

And still these threats keep comming up asking for small (often totally unneccesary changes) involving huge ammount of work if even possible, not affecting gameplay at all.

I dont get it.

@SirGitz: Is this a very early version of the He111 used by the Legion Condor in Spain?

Hey guys it was already mentioned by Shitmaker in this threat that the Panzerschreck in the current internal Beta is able to one shot Shermans again.

The argument that coding a weapon intentionally weak so it forces you to sneak is a very weak one in my opinion, especially considering the range of it is 30 metres, so you are going to have to sneak no matter what. Also, I should note that according to the revision logs, Kev hasn't ever changed the damage the panzerfaust 30 does.

In my opinion, the panzerfaust 30 base damage should be increased to 90, so it is the same as the 60 and 100.

Wow this is exactly what I wished to hear. Maybe some Dev/Betatester could bring the arguments and conclusion of this discussion into the internal forum. Thank you.

I still fail to see how this pretty small and relativly easy to accomplish change in the 30 would break gameplay. I think it wouldn't affect the gameplay too much, but provide us with a somewhat higher degree of historical accuracy.
