Looking forward to drive an elephant, 200mm frontal armor, even better than KT. Yay! Those damn special AP rounds won't bother me anymore.....

Not really,17prd with APDS penetrates some 19X mm armor,90mm HVAP had similar penetration,but elephant got 200mm.

And 19X mm is just numerical data,which means it will still decrease practically.

Actually, it's almost 210 mm @ 30° from 500 meters. Thickest parts of the SdKfz 184 are 200 mm and angled less than 30°.

Anyway, there are not going to be too many 17 pounder vs. Elephant encounters. And definitely not on the east front.

Well,I've been told that FH2 use 1000m distance data in game when I questioned about why I can't one shot a Churchill by Tiger.

You can't even see 1 000 meters in FH2

As far as I know, the penetration is based on the real penetration values from 500 meters while the actual damage varies depending on the distance. More damage from close, less from distance.

Because that would make the churchill an slower sherman tank.

The early versions could well withstand German 75MM and 88MM fire. Up to 1000M they where well protected

I hope we see some Churchills in Eastern Front maps like for example in FH1 Prokhorovka. Good memories of wasting poor Panzer 3s and knowing they can't hurt me.

Also, if vodka can be somehow implemened into the game (as melee weapon, replacement for patches, or just a static object on maps/ in command tents...etc.), that would be awesome.
