i got email from the makers of wwII online about there new game rapid assault but cant seem to find anything about it, anyone know anything?

It's just a conversion of WWIIOL into a smaller scale skirmish type game. The maps are probably going to similar in size and scale to PR's with a max player count of 64. It's pretty much WWIIOL missing everything that makes WWIIOL fun. WWIIOL's engine is terribly out of date, but the half scale map of northern France and Belgium made it appealing to me at times. I think they're adding external views to vehicles and stuff too, but beyond that, don't expect much of anything.
