Why did you choose your nickname?

Alright, what's your story?

Mine is because of the epic mathcore band Fear Before the March of Flames, but that wouldn't fit in BF1942's profile name thing so I just went with Fear Before. The underscore is because of my taking 3 attempts to register on another forum due to hotmail being retarded, and each time I tried to re-register the previous name I tried to register with would show up as being taken, so I just added an underscore, and then it just sort of became a tradition.

My name before was "Aggrosoldat", then I had to take a new one, because "Aggrosoldat" was already registered at some games, so my friend (he helped me out with all my games and my new computer) took this one, and now I am "Aggroman".
Btw, Aggro is from the german music label "Aggro Berlin", I liked their music a lot in those days, but today the label doesn't even exist anymore and I also don't like the music, but the name stays.

It is hard, I ll tell you my nickname story.

When I was young my aunt called me "przecinek"  it mean: "," but have second meaning: "prze cinek" mean "pro cinek" When I got my first computer in... uh probably 2000 I had to make email, tried "cinek" but it was reserved. Treid "cin3k" but it was reserved, so I made "cin3k33" email and you dont believe. It was freee!!!
I started to use that nick in websites then in games :D

Rata = Rat
con = with
Fusca = Pistol (slang word in Spanish...fusca=pistol / fusco=revolver

Jürgen = my name in German...I had to pick a new nickname on this forum to destroy my reputation in FF forums...

About 7 years ago Runescape was top game, and everyone at school played it. So ajappat was my rune character  ;D. I found it's good nick everywhere as its never already in use. ajappat = tappaja = killer  ::)

First i was sponge it sounded nice then everybody started calling me spongebob so i changed my name to spongebob, but in finnish. So now i am Paavopesusieni(Spongebob), good tv show btw :P.

In German he is named "Spongebob", but his last name is "Schwammkopf" instead of "Squarepants"

first i went by Predator (not really because of the movies but the aline vs predator game back in the day) but that quickly became a very common name.

Back in those days i started listening (and i still am) to a band called "Die Happy" since i played (and still play) a lot of FPS games the name seemed and instant fit.

Roden Is simply my surname :)  witch was the old name for Roslagen (Coastal area in East sweden, Where i live)
have been thinking off getting another nick, but i found out a year ago that if you add a T to the end and i am a animal http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodent , Thats why i have the Rat in the avatar :P

In the past, in the early years of On-line play (bf1942) i used Names(with some variation) Panic, Chaos_panic Panic Chaous Commander, Pvt.Panic Chaos. Decker

Jaba Mephis, Jaba i used in previous games (old games). Mephis, well it sounded right since english is the universal language. In my opinion a nickname ingame is supposed to be a name, not a statement.

Was playing the game  Star wars battlefront. The Republic AI bots had names like Alpha, eta , delta     and Theta

I choosed the last

Yet everyone here calls me TAO
