^ congratulations ... and i just lost my car yesterday. turns out a friggin marten nibbled on a small hose (worth 5 €) and now the thing has an engine damage wich costs 1000 € to repair. the car however is just worth 500 € max. the thing is going to the scrapyard now. however i had a great time with that vehicle. -.-

Friday is the last day of my 15 months of agency work after being made redundant from my last full time job. From monday i go permanent working at a former WW2 underground munitions depot, converted from a stone mine. Nowadays used for secure storage. I've been working there for the last twelve weeks through the agency i'm signed on with. I mainly work on the surface in goods in/out but do get to go down into the mine a fair bit.

An interesting website with lots of info of the mine, as well as a lot of photos, though none of it in it's current use.

http://www.monkton-farleigh.co.uk/sc_monktonfarleigh1.htm

The Main West tunnel and districts 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 are currently used with around 22 acres of space available for storage., Main East is only used as a fire escape. Districts 19 and 20 are sealed off, though i believe the company intends to bring these up to standard.

Not really happy, but whatever.
-----

...my backyard seems to be flooded! Yes, we came to that conclusion ourselves, but we wanted to get it confirmed, so we brought in five experts and four of them said that our backyard was very flooded indeed. The one who disagreed with our assumption was an expert in holistic medicine and insisted it be called a 'healing pool.'

The flood waters rose so high and were so strong that It dug up a 150-year-old railroad tie (that railroad used to go through our backyard, but it was torn up because Americans apparently hate good infrastructure) and dragged it over 30 feet away. That's pretty damn impressive considering it's hard for two people to pick it up, and that It had decomposed somewhat and had fused to the ground. Also note that railroad ties from that period were treated with tar and oil, so it's been seeping into the groundwater for the past few dozen decades. Obviously it's the cause of my superpowers.
The rain last night wasn't bad at all, either. I had the window open all night and had no issues. Weird.
AND FURTHER, that notch in the dead tree over there where the tie used to be comes up at my stomach, so my yard is pretty decently flooded.
Okay, now I'm done

After just over 21 straight 8-10 hour-days of hospital duty I have a day off tomorrow! And afterwards, half shifts or days off. Volunteered myself, but then two more got some leave. Not only did I bite that bullet, I swallowed it whole. Beer time!

Results:
+ One cute co-assistant ;D
+ Job rep
+ Feel tired, but great, body is ... wtf... pretty ripped  8)
+ Enough money for a good pc upgrade (primary objective)
+ Probably some left for the saving account: i.e.: Normandy or Ardennes/WWI trip (second objective)
- Household is a warzone and then some
- Need new shoes
- Two 24-hr compatible rhythms is easy, didn't see the third coming.

Tonight I'm off work at 2 PM.
Then at 3 PM i'm off to do "Hornsgatan Open" with my brother and some friends. A long street here in stockholm with a lot of pubs. Starting at one end and having 1 beer at every place. I think we'll go for 15 places, we'll see how far I get.
I see were you are trying to reach: "how can a 17 year old kid have such a thinking like this? why doesnt he wants to be like normal teens who whana get rich? and his plan actually makes sense, but is too damn revolutionary and good at the same time than is still doubthfull if it works..." - Damaso
