Tss, lazy artillery guys standing around and shooting big cannons on targets that are faar away.
OT: Yesterday I did "proper" Military Police work, instead of my routine staff job. Together with a MSgt, a Sergeant, two Corporals and another LCpl I provided security during an oath of allegiance ceremony of a Mountaineer Signals Company infront of the beautiful Alps. Extremely nice scenery, good weather and a quiet ceremony.
This is really special for me, since usually only Sergeants or Sergeant candidates provide sceurity, while conscripts (or those who volunteerly extended their conscription, like me) mostly do staff jobs. Fortunately my superiors have enough trust in me, so I´ll attend three other ceremonies next week and some others until I´m done with the army.
Also I´m happy because I have a day off today and came home 5 hours earlier than usual!
Oh and in basic training we had to walk everywhere, too. No busses for us :/
