I have been in MS-W as well. I remember fighting you guys, for a stretch there was some utterly exhasting fighting in France. Good times. Right now things are basically about landing battles and backing up Allies on all corners of the map.

My third orbital outing with a Luner Lander mod set that someone recently made:



The second orbital outing was a disaster since I failed to gain enough horizontal velocity to remain in space.
The first orbital outing was exciting, since I managed to destroy my parachute in a collision with the decent stage, and rather than just clicking the end game button, I decided to try (and successfully completed) a powered landing using the retrorocket.

i kinda wonder if the graphics will be greatly improved for episode 3. Would rather the graphics be the same and the game came out earlier (HL never was about graphics imo), they are still really good though!

Yeah, exactly my thoughts, Ted. Amazing that after all these years that they still work so well.

And I'm enjoying every second at the moment, this Highroad episode is just too damn fun.

Can't wait until I can start playing Episode Two

Graphics have been improved with every Episode. They did add something, new lightning, new water effects, etc. It's small things but if you compare day 1 HL2 with present HL2, a lot of differences.

It's taking so goddarn long though  :( Hope they surprise me with HL3 instead of Episode 3.

Speaking of HL2, I tried out a singleplayer mod the other day called TITAN XCIX, it was amazingly well done and loved evey bit of it, can't wait for the second part.
