Hey lads,
I've always been wondering how people were so accurate with mortars and artillery guns.
I saw a video of a lad playing FH2 on youtube and saw he had a 2nd wheel in the aiming screen to see the aim direction. Unfortunatly i never see the bottom wheel.
Is it something i have to do, or is it my weird screen resolution? I've got an LG ultrawide screen with a 2560 x 1080 ratio. If there's no fix i'll buy a new screen, because then i might miss more then i realise.
Watch the screenshot below, this is how i see it :

Thanks in advance :D

From what I know someone has to spot a target first and only then you'll be able to see it from the mortar and aim at it. But I ain't sure.

Yeah it looks like your resolution is the cause.

Really? What is the required resolution?

I have that issue too! >:(
Acer 32" Curved Widescreen. Fh2 plays lovely in 3440 x1440 in 16:9.
What should the screen settings be oh wise Sages?

You guys better ask such things in #tech-support channel on our Discord (https://discord.com/invite/hU878P4). Many more people active there, surely someone can help.

Any 16:9 screen will do fine. I had a strange 21:9 screen which scretches the screen. That's why my buttom wheel didn't appear for me.
I don't think there's anything the dev's can do about it, its just that BF2 is an old game/engine. 21:9 screens came allot later. Gameplay overall was fine, i just missed out on artillery.
I've bought myself a new screen (not just for the artillery view ofcourse) because my old screen only had 75hz and 5ms. I got annoyed by the stretched screen as i mainly play older games, most of them didn't support that resolution/ratio :) also the response time and hz were bad for playing FPS.
