Oh well it's a shitty game, so who cares? (Played the beta)

It's like BFBC 2 engine meets MW 2 gameplay... And only 3 classes? EA is going mainstream, and they try to save it by giving a BF 3 beta key to every limited edition now. Which scares me for the future of the Battlefield franchise.

Suggestions / Re: Forgotten Hope ENGINE USING THE ARMA2

I think I can safely say that FH will not move to Frostbite, not only due to lack of moddability but also due to even more engine limitations ( as if BF2 isn't limited enough. Nor will FH move to ARMA2. While the engine is amazing it doesn't suit the gameplay FH wants to deliver.

Beside that fact, my dear old friends at I44 team are covering the WWII part of ARMA2. Actually it's been a while since I last looked up news from the I44 team and I'm glad they're still going. I've always admired that team since my modding days of OFP, couple of years back. Thanks for the heads up Hawkeye :D

You're welcome, been searching youtube for a while and I found this other WW II mod for ArmA 2. I don't know if its finnished or downloadable yet.

I rather wait for Invasion 44...

Your ninja climbing skills should have saved you from falling in!

There is actually a practical way of getting out of that, drop a nade near your feet and keep watching closely.  ;D

Are there any tutorials on changing/editing the ingame menu? Because I couldn't find any on the editor forums

GefrBeck, don't worry about these guys reacting like that on suggestions that are based on PR. I agree that some (not all) gameplay elements from PR would improve the FH 2 gameplay and the need of teamwork (which is none in the current  FH 2). I think a gameplay upgrade will save this mod from dieing.

The goal of FH for 1942 was adding realism to the original game, while this total conversion just seems like a WW II version of normal BF 2 (which is not "real" at all - Note: not saying PR is ultra realism, before all hell breaks loose).

Don't bother about these guys as they are afraid of change...

Wasn't there a problem with the French aircontrol? Who refused to send in airsupport against the armored vehicles? Anyways whole NATO failed in the early years of that Balkan war with NATO officials being humiliated and left handcuffed on lampposts... Unclear ROE and bad supply lines

it's quite balanced ??? They should work on the gameplay, and make teamwork (more) required then it is atm. (PR style)
