Free float camera on entering map?

I played FH2 like, ALOT! i adore it to bits!
But since today when i load a map, the spawn menu doesnt show and the camera has entered a "freelook mode"

I can look arround and enter the main menu and thats it, even used the "repair"from the launcher.
The repair helped once and then the same issue occured!

After that even the repair tool didnt help, and reinstall had no effect either.

Im kinda lost on this one.

this also happens to me when i run fh2 compatibility mode for xp then alt tab it
what operating system  you use

im using windows 8.1
It worked fine for months until yesterday all of the sudden and im confuesed.

For some strange reason it worked fine again later for about 2 rounds and then it started to do this again.

you can try with xp compatibility mod maybe it works

BF2 is not compatible with 8.1 though it was with 8.  I have 8.1 and I run FH2 in compatibility mode, windowed mode, and as administrator.  That's the only way I can get it to work decently.  Alt key freezes the game though.  So you have remap it to something else.

Already doing that, same as administrator mode.
