The pre-packed sandwhiches at Marks&Spencers are pretty ok in the UK.
The Netherlands is famous for it's "Broodje Kaas" (Brown sandwich with cheese) that must comes in a lunch-box with a colour that puts any self respecting rainbow unicorn to shame.
When I was in Germany with some Austrian colleagues they told it was quite normal to eat warm meals twice a day. During lunch I got served kartoffles and some kind of cabbage.

 Daglow's' summary was simple enough:

Craft the opening minutes to hold attention.
    Use a simple, clear interface.
Minimise text: show, don't tell in tutorials.
The player is a celebrity, give them unique customisation.
Recognise that we're in the queue and the user is the master.
History rarely sells and is often unknown.

The top 5 point are like kicking in open doors. FH2 also recognizes the need for a clear, simple interface, we have video tutorials instead wall of text on how to play FH2. The other points are about customisation, does that actually work outside RPG, unless it is funny hats from TF:2.
Ofc the user (client) is king.

History rarely sells, depends on which story you are going to tell. Gods of wars is inspired on Greek drama's. I think Assasin Creed sells rather well. We had our fair share of WWII shooters ten years ago.

By the way is it really true you can't fail in US schools? You can be set back a year, correct?

You know not even a bad idea and well presented too. If there ever was a mod I think has the right balance between fun and authenticity it is FH. But then again I am already a fan.

That are a few examples of Mod's becoming full blown games or integrated in a game, RO and Desert Combat for example, but they always had the backing of the publisher or original game developer.  So having an available game engine that can do a combined forces game play like FH2 with support of the creator will be a challenge to say the least.

Do you still a DVD drive? Save 20 euro if you ever need one you can buy USB DVD drive.
PSU should be around 500 W and make sure it is a least Bronze certified, means it is more efficient. A modular PSU would be nice for better cable management.

Your setup is nice I am thinking of doing a new build in a few months, with more and less similar components.

Services sector is everything economical which isn't producing anything. Trade being the most important factor.

Of course the stuff you mention brings money in the pocket, but the growth we had since 1945 was mainly because of services sector.

True. And the interesting thing is that the last ten years we think our Make Industry is dead, but it is shifting to more highly specialised products, which I think has the future. We can't rely on Rotterdam for ever for our import/export trade economic growth  :).

So when is this referendum done.

Depends on how you define services industry. Our growth nowadays comes mostly from export and surprise surprise the "Make" Industry, like ASML and lot's of other specialised niche players that are into nano-technology, bio engineering and maritime expertise. Also our farming expertise is pretty marketable in other countries.

A warm welcome from Europe to Scotland, may the join us soon.

Pvt. Allen is a Polish guy, he was very very friendly. Don't see him on the forums no more though..pity. Ok let's end the Russian discussion, since there will be peace soon as promised by Putin today.

So how about we remove some Middle Eastern map from the map rotation to boycott IS, coz they iz taking over Middle Eastern Arabia. This thread is called revolting Uniting and dammit I feel we should boycott something. Or if that fails at least ban Moose!

Are we boycotting Eastern Front release because of Russian meddling in Ukraine. This will force Putin's hand for sure. The mere hint of a possible postponement will rattle the windows of the Kremlin  :)

Started to watch two new TV shows.
First is The Wire, which is about the criminals scene in Baltimore. It shows both perspectives, law enforcement and the gangsters and how the former try to combat the organised drug scene. I´m three episodes in and despite the age the show is really good so far. Great characters, fascinating setting and an intriguing storyline.
The second one is the seven-part HBO show John Adams, which is based on the historical character with the same name and is set in Massachusetts, during the times of the American Revolution. It describes how the revolutions started and how the colonies became the United States. Very well done, with great actors and a very authentic feel. Finished two episodes so far and fortunately it doesn´t feel like some uber-patriotic wank-fest, but tries to paint an accurate picture of the time and the events.

To watch the Wire for the first time, the series remains good like the Sopranos. Every season is different yet good!

If she doesn't play FH she is not worth the time. That should be obligatory check in the tick box options at dating sites.

BF1942 DEMO - played Wake for as long as I could, sneaky engineer hiding in the watcher, dropping satchels was great.
Tried some mods before finding the gem that is FH. I could have single handely created worldpeace with the amount of hours I sunk into FH 1/2.
Second place goes to DC/ 24/7 Lost Village, Flying helo's low through small streets, fun times those were.

I have asked during a beta test, you can use them, unless Natty would say no, since he mixed most of the sounds or other devs. And give credit where credit is due.
But even more interesting would you be willing to show some of your work here? Do you have link with prior work?  FH2 could do with an animator.

The sound files are in the rar files that are in the FH2 folder. They are ogg. There are converters.
