Hey, recently I have had the consistent error of Forgotten hope 2 crashing shortly after the map has loaded after join an online game. I have tried everything such as giving compatibility mode to the game and re-installing bf2 and FH2. I am currently running win 7 64 bit. I have also included the crash report.

Hey,
what BF2 version are you using? You need 1.41 to run FH2.

I am running bf2 patch 1.41

You could try the Vista fixes in this subforum, as Win7 and Vista are basically the same, they might work for you.

i have already tried those fixes

run it it virtuall pc useing windows xp, i cannot conferm anything as i dont have win 7 yet, you can download it for free from microsoft.

Do the crashes generate a .dmp file in the my document\battlefield 2\dmp folders (the string looks somewhat like this)
If so can you post that.
Can you start a round of regular BF2 or a single player game.
Not FH2 related
Also why do you use so much virtual memory. You have 8GB physical memory, which is more then enough for the most current applications.

that wont do nothing as the virtual machine has no support for 3d graphic stuff and just wont run any 3d heavy games.
at least that is what i heard/read.

I hate to say it, but when I had this problem with BF2142 the only fix was to redownload the patches, and Northern strike, and do a fresh installation of everything. Yes I know, I know it's almost a Microsoft support center response "have you tired rebooting your computer sir?" But it was the only way to stop the game crashing as soon as the map had loaded, oh and btw I also had to remove all temp file to force the shader rendering process.

I don't if this pertains to Vista/Win 7, but I had lots of trouble running BF2 with old sound drivers. Once updated, everything was as smooth as a baby's posterior...

Did you get the dump from the location I mentioned. It's an other kind of dump then the one you've uploaded.
