Hey Mudra, do you use rubber bayonets in your reenactments so that you can actaully charge each other, or do you actually use real metal and try not to cause mortal wounds?
And yes, i would certainly hope that one of the most prominent characteristics of the M1 Garand would be included.
I find that I'm starting to miss those babies.
We don't use bayonet, period. Too dangerous, if someone has a blank in their rifle, and it goes off or something, it could cause serious injury.
We do, however, use the rifles as clubs and such, as well as rubber knives, and for WW1, rubber trench clubs.
