It will never appear in FH2.

Some guys has 3D Ironsights.. but sadly not all of them.

Too bad we´ll never see them. I like the 3D-sight of the No.4 in PR (don´t kill me ^^) and IMO the weapons in FH2 have the potential to be used with 3D-sights. But AFAIk if we´d have them there won´t be this "tunnel vision" shader...I´m not so fond of that, but the majority seems to like them so I guess 3D-sights are a no-no...

Well, some weapons in fh2 have 3d ironsights, like the pistols. But face the truth men, 2d texture/3d combined ironsight like in majority weapons in fh2 much better portrays soldier's depth of view while aiming.

I too would love to see 3D iron sights but I think the good sides of 2D/3D hybrid makes up the loss of real 3D sights. Also one good thing is that with the current system they can portray the peep sights (or whatever they are called in english) better without compromising the model's accuracy. Like for example the M1 Garand one.

3D sights are over rated, I love my 2d-3d sight combination as it is in FH, it does a much better job at portraying the depth view.

Nope, the Sharpest Point ironsights were 2D, they donated them to XWW2, so you can check how they were if you still have a copy of XWW2 for BF42.

Only two mods portrayed real 3D ironsights in BF42: FH (mg34, mg42 and the AT weapons) and FHE, a minimod that finished our work in that subject adding them to all handweapons

Back then TSP was mostly impressive because it had ironsights at all...which were indeed 2D.
