Not really my fail, but on Hurtgen on the 200 server. I grabbed a StuG and killed a whole lot of nothing for about five minutes, until a bazooka round narrowly zoomed over my head, shot from maybe 100m away across the field, in the woods. A second shot from that general direction missed wildly, but a third was on the money and I was at about 60% health. I began to fall back, but blew up before I could discharge smoke. I assumed it was the same guy that hit me earlier, but I couldn't understand how he'd killed me if the best he could do was 40% damage with a hit to the front.
As I saw in the 3rd person death cam immediately after I died, I had actually been killed by a zook from behind (evidently someone'd snuck into the outskirts of Germeter), but as the guy behind me ran away from my destroyed StuG, he was nailed by a zook round from the original guy shooting at me way off in the woods. It was a perfect hit.
We did an excellent job defending Germeter for 800ish US tickets, only for them to cap us out with 26 US tickets while we had 950, leading ultimately to a 13-0 American victory.
