Removing kid tiger

     I want to suggest removing of kid tiger from all fh maps, because it causes ridiculous gameplay.

But i do agree that tank balance is now majorly favoured in the german side, you cant deny this

This again? We are running around in circles, but i like to have discussions about tanks. I think the allies just need more tanks, not stonger ones.
For the King Tiger: It should be damageable from the rear by the shermans 75mms. -And that´s it. I once fired 5 shells there that didnt do anything.
On the other side not everything is in favour of the Germans. Keep in mind that the 75mm/L48 is quite ineffective and that the Hetzer frontal armour doesn´t deflect much.
But there´s no way in hell we should come back to the tank balance of the previous version which was utterly ridicolous.
He got banned for our sins. He was not the member FH forums deserved, he was the member we needed.

He means the kid plane. AFAIK that one is on no official maps. It is a gag plane that Toddel made for his children so they could fly around on the maps.

edit: oh now I see it. Just place the M36 Jackson on that map, problem solved.

So is he now talking about The gag or the Kingtigers dominance on Eppeldorf?

@Butcher no the Kingtiger should Not be damaged by sherman 75 in the rear..The rear is simular armoured and better sloped then the sides.

What needs to be done is either=Increase in allied tanks or decrease in numbers of german tanks(I prefer the latter because the ratios are ridiculous now)

Thats all

No need to thamper with penetration balance anymore because it might frak up things entirely back to the favour of the allied camp

The only thing ridiculous I see here is the Greyhound driving in circles around KT... (and the fact that you even dared to come close to it with that puny 37 mm... :P)

I would not remove the KT from the maps but as Butcher said, give the possibility for the allies to atleast have on or two more tanks on these maps. Eppeldorf for example could need a second 76mm Sherman or a Hellcat. Other maps have balance connected problems that are caused by terrible ticket bleeds. Tunis and PeB for expamle.

I think its fine. Ya, maybe more average Shermans or something. I play with bots from time to time, and they dont care for special parts; they just blast away. And STILL they stop that tank, so really, no need to do much.

It reality - Deal with it. What is the point of a KT if its only as strong as a Jumbo? Or a regular sherman. Its slow, but its powerful. That's the way it was.

Yes the KT need to stay the strongest tank but if he is powerfull enough to unbalance the map ?  Not remove the KT, but remove some other german tanks since theyre way too much tanks on this map, or add a Hellcat/Jackson/Sherman 76 or anything that could be historically accurate.

kitty is just as strong as the driver. making Ramelle such a horrible map imo, as the whole victory is depending on 2 players, and the 30 other germans can play as good as they want, but wont win without tiger.

Ya, lets not get personal.

The KT can run amock until the Shermans show up and is in danger at one side of the bridge.

Use fricking tactics people. I take out Tigers and KTs with my squad all the time.
What you WANT to do is play blindly firing from the front and kill anything with one or two shots

Eint the way it is.

What Ramelle needs is a longer area before the allies. Remove the first flag for instance, and give the allies more things to dig in with. Like sticky bombs? and xpack explosives.

What would you say about the matilda on Sidi Rezegh then? Its more deadly and impenetrable compared to the Tiger against anything IT comes against. Why aren't we complaining about that beast?

If we get balanced, we get just another Shooter. Sure, have less German tanks and more allied tanks. That is historically accurate.
But dont try to balance it with static positions. The Germans would have had more 88s and AT positions in concealed locations and this wouldnt have been magically replaced by British and American ones when capped. Lock them to axis like on Sidi.

That is proper balancing. Given the teams what they really had in a way that makes it win-able by both sides, albeit not perfectly equal chanced. Dont nerf the tanks or equal their numbers vs strength artificially or I wont feel like Im playing WWII
