Since you may have some models already announced in changelog which the public have not seen, you may show them, it will not be an hard work for you, and it'll be really pleasant for us !

I believe the policy is to not show anything that isnt confirmed to be used on a map. If you remember from FH1 they had about 50 untextured models of wich many were never used and people would whine constantly why isnt this or that isn't done.

as a suggestion for a quick update it wasn't such a bad idea.

good things will come eventually but you have to admit that the "2.45 is coming soon" has become a terrible tease for many people. Especially for the tons of people that don't visit these forums.

I was speaking for the mass public, not the insider's who get private forums and beta-testing to keep them patient. The people that really suffer are the vast majority of peeps who never visit Warumdarum and are therefore clueless about progress.

Are the forums currently being advertised at all in-game? Or does it say "Coming soon" and then just fhmod.org?

The in-game notice just says that 2.45 will be released soon.
Usually all BF-News sites that feature the updates add a link to these forums, as does every news on the front page, where you should be redirected to, once you press on the in-game notice.

Although it could still be a good idea to add a "Read more on our Forums!" to the message. :)

since it takes time to load the game, I would hazard the opinion that most people won't click on that image in order to cancel out the program that they just loaded up.

I think you give most players too much credit. Many won't even know that the message leads you to the homepage.

Nevertheless, Ts could just slap a notice on it.
