Fa 223 Helicopter

I was watching some old footage when i saw a cool looking helicopter, i did some research and found out what its called, the Fa 223 Drache "Dragon". I was just thinking that it could be a cool fun way of getting around the battlefield. Tell me what you think.

I think there is not a map, on which it could be used.

Can't really be used...it was never used operationally.  They tried, but it generally broke down before it could be used.  The only helo that WAS used operationally was the Flettner, but only as an unarmed artillery spotter around the time of the Battle of Berlin (though not at Berlin).

It could always be put on alpenfestung.
Just hope that , If alpenfestung comes , Historical accuracy will be a bit more liberal.

 we already have an Alpenfestung FH2 version and it was alot of fun to play during the last WaW mappack.


It's too bad that the dev's won't put their stuff into official rotation.

Yer, I am waiting for Alpenfestung two.

Sure, have a fleet of about 4 helos... Flettners and the FA223. Imagine Ride of the Valkerie playing.


But this Alpenfestung needs the underground base with the JaggdTigers, and V1 and Nater on the Roof, and the Caliope, Duster and M1 Garand scoped and full auto.

Now that IS a map I will LOVE to see in rotation.

Have the models done, I guarantee an El Alamein 1946 and Battle of Britian 1947.
