I saw this on ebay recently and thought it might be useful for the developers!

This is a 1937 model 8x40 made by NPZ.

What model are our Soviet binoculars?

I could be wrong but I believe most soviet binoculars (including 6x30) used the same range finder style on the lens. Specifically the left lens is clear while the right lens has a range finder.
