Looks Purdy.  The M3 Halftrack was one of the most important US vehicles I think we were missing.

Also, what purpose did the cylindrical contraption that's attached to the front of the halftrack serve?

I believe that was used to wrap chains/rope/wire around for various different tasks.

It's just a roller, to prevent the front of the halftrack digging in when traversing rough terrain. Alternatively a winch could be installed.

The M3A1 looks great (the M1 Mortar too), i hope it'll lead to an M5/M5A1 Halftrack for the Commonwealth and later Soviet forces.

I´ve got to check this update´s screens when I´m sober tomorrow, but I´m glad you released one.

Looks good! Just when I thought you guys had covered everything equipment wise by now, I'm surprised once again. There's just so much shit to make isn't there?

And the most vexing thing is that the devs only show like 5% in the news.
No static has been displayed in the news for ages and we have like thousands of top notch ones floating ingame.

How about increasing the percentage. I would love to see some statics.  :D

Ok, the pics really look great! Once again alot of details have been put in and the M3 and the mortar look really nice! I can´t wait to use the .50 to shred through infantry (hopefully it´ll get a really nice sound) :D
In this update weren´t the things I expected, but it´s definately not deisappointing. And as N24 said, if the shown things are really only 5 % of what´s in-game the Normandy release will be a real blast! Keep up your good work!

Hope the last 95% of unshown stuff live not only in their heads, but in hard drives also.
