Hope they won't go with WoW. I don't want to see the copyright fight ensuing on that claim. ^^

A free-to-play (but with paid incentives) MMORPG with WW2 planes (from pre-war up to Korea, preferably including lots of "secret weapons")? FRAK YEAH I'm most definitely interested, especially because iCoD was apparently born full of fail and 1946 has baggage of its own (most notably "interesting" interpretation of high-altitude combat, super sharpshooting tailgunners, and the "neutral sources only" retardness that cripples most of Allied and German planes).

I hope that the flight model is decently realistic, too arcade-y flight model won't interest me as much. But hopefully there will be no "complex engine management" (something I never bothered to learn in IL-2).

Could this be the Air Warrior of the 2010's?

I can already see overpowered Mig 17 vs Me 262
Because of course a fighter from early 40's should be on a par with a fighter from early 50's.

Like Maus vs IS-7 or T-54 vs Panther II. Devs would probably find some early prototype of Mig 17 from the 1947. "The cannons are from the 40's and wing was designed in 1945".

So what Me 262 design started much before that. The jet engines are German design and of course Russians made their own right after war when they got their hand on them. Aircrafts developed much faster than tanks after war.

Mig-13 on the other hand or Me 262-HG3. those would be epic to fly around
