The Panzerwurfmine
« on: 14-06-2012, 09:06:05 »
it is a German antitank grenade named panzerwurfmine
The Panzerwurfmine's appearance owed much to the Panzerfaust (specifically its warhead), which was of similar construction and operation. The major difference was that the PWM had a tube attached to the charge, running behind it, with some form of stabilising fins or canvas attached to the rear of the tube.ithink it should add pioners kit i hope you will interested this

It's a nice mine, but I think I saw something even better in a news a few months ago. ^^

I think PWMs are impact detonated HEAT grenades, whereas Hafthohlladdungs are magnetic HEAT devices with timer fuses.

I don't know what production numbers were exactly, but I have literally never seen a photo of a soldier with the Panzerwurfmine, but tons with the Hafthohlladdung.

According the almighty Wikipedia 203,800 units. From May 1943 to end of the year.

E: And also it was used by Luftwaffle Ground Troops.

Not much made then, that's half the number of Hafthohlladung, which was also canceled in May 1944 due to replacement by the Pzfaust.

As for the Pzwurfmine, though I could def see them getting issued to LW Feld divisions, considering the menagerie of gear they got, it just does not seem common enough.  Maybe someday, as a special pick up for battles where Lw Feld divisions are, but that's up to the devs.

That's barely enough to train a single division, never mind equipping them.

More accurately put would be if a dev FEELS like doing it, other then that: NOPE.

the Panzerwurfmine looks like something Batman would use.

Looks to big too be on his utility belt therefore I call false. Besides everybody knows Batman would use an exploding bat-a-rang to disable the tracks, then proceed to wail on the crew after they'd bailed out.
