Gun animations

Could it be fixed so that when you walk sideways your gun wont float over to the other side of the screen? I find it annoying.

I think that was added in recently, I kinda like it, get to view more of the model. And in real life im sure running around with a gun it would not stay center

Its been in FH2 since release, I like it as it doesn't feel so bolted like vanilla.

Nor would the gun be held stiffly out at a perpendicular angle to your body :P

You mean where it floats in the direction you're going? I kinda like it..

But.. If we would "fix" it we'd have to remove the weapon sway when you turn and move all together and get those stiff weapon animations, which I really really don't want.

So no. :)

Why would you want to downgrade something that was put-in for needs of realism? I like it, makes you feel more alive, not a doll. Or a statue.

I believe this was taken to far in the wrong dirrection. When i meant fix the gun animations all i meant was to make it so that while moving sideways the gun doesnt swing in the opposit dirrection. EX. moving right, the gun moves to the left of the screen. Ive used a rifle before and when i sidestep one way i dont move the gun to the other side of my body.

You don't move it but you drag it, you don't point it 90° in front of you. It lags, so to speak, behind you.

I think it moves too far. Hip-firing doesn't quite work when the rifle's butt is in your stomach. :-X

True. I'm not a fan of the horizontal sway during movement, but I love how far the recoil pushes back. ;D
