Hello! It's come to my attention that a lot of people who used to play FHSW play FH2 without knowing FHSW's still active. FHSW is a mod that expands FH (Forgotten Hope) with realistic armor penetration modeling/different ammo/full reload animations for all weapons, realistic tracers, and some wonderweapons like german jet planes/helicopters and the Maus and Ratte tanks.
There is a Japanese and a European server, The Japanese server is active between 12:00 - 16:00 GMT on weekends, with ~70-80 people online, and the European between 18:00 to 00:00, mostly on weekends but sometimes weekdays, up to ~50 people online at peak.
There's an event on the European FHSW today, you're very welcome to join! We're doing operation Rattrap amongst other things (Kill the P.1000 Ratte Tank)

Everyone is welcome on the Japanese server as well, rules are no ping over 400 or kick, and no teamswitching or kick.

You might also want to download the ragdoll mod for ragdoll physics on infantry when they die, and the 4gb patch which increases RAM allowed by BF1942 to 4GB. Also highly recommended is the Sound & Texture pack, makes this mod the best sounding WW2 game imo.
