Yep. if you have any Source game, HL2, L4D 1 or 2... your download is only like 600 MB

I've had it for years as well. I have to admit though, ever since they opened the mann store with its endless amount of hats and different weapon skins, I find the game harder to enjoy. The gameplay is the same, but somehow it feels like some of the humor is missing. I don't know what or why...

In any case, I will be playing it in the following days.

My flatmate had this when it came out and he seemed to quite enjoy himself with it. I was more into "deeper" games like STALKER and FH2 but now that it's free I'll definately give it a shot. I got a better PC as well compared to 3 (?) years ago, so that helps.

I gave it a try too. Played for 3 hours or something between studying and ended up on the first place with like 100+ advantage to the next guy. Engineer is awesome :> Love placing sneaky teleports somewhere close to enemy control points watch my teammates flood through it and kill everything. Teleport record in one round (!) was 112

^Sounds like a good plan.
I´ve got the game since it came out in 07. In the last few months I got back into it and play it quite regularly now. I used the time to unlock more achievements and get some new weapons (by drop and by unlocking them). Currently I have unlocked 79% of all achievements.
My favourite class is the Pyro. I usually play the other classes if a situation of need arises. Heavies, combined with Medics are great blockade breakers, but useless on big maps where Snipers and Spies roam freely.
