Yknow, considering TF2 is about 12Gbs in size now? Rather have a 30mins installation than a 12 hour download + the installation.

When you download it from Steam, there is no installing involved. And there's no way that installing the original TF2 from a disc and updating it would be considerably faster than downloading all of it. :P

There's no real escape from long download times. If you survived Company of Heroes Online's download, you'll survive this.

Im confused, i dloaded it buit it handled it like i already had the files. I formatted everything and i had the game within a hour ???

If you have Source games already, it doesn't download game engine, thus showing you already have part of game on your harddrive  :)
