Plus no frontline duty as it is a part of the German propaganda machine, to boost the morale. PK = Propaganda kompanie? Correct in German? Just me translating.

Wrong! Well over 1000 saw frontline duty, mostly in Africa and Italy.

You get me wrong, I mean in boomkaboom duty, you don't storm enemy positions with a Volkswagen.
