Bit too light green in my opinion. It's the Netherlands afterall, and it's Septembre.

I don't think he has come to the texture part yet. it is temporary colors just for mapping reference.
Ah ok, pardon me then, noob at mapping you know  :P Thought the neon-green was odd so just commented on it.

Changed the thread-title.
 I started the general layout of the "city". Most buildings will be unenterable, because I want to concentrate the fighting in the gardens in front of the buidlings.

make a minimap  :) or set viewdistance and fog to 10,000 meters and take a screenshot of the whole map from different angles.

Only mid September though, at the end of summer and start of autumn. It would still be mostly green. The first (minor) signs of autmun may have strted to show but overall it would feel/look more like a summer (green)  enviroment.

Hmm.. When I saw you posted I expected a long happy/history lesson post about Valkenswaard as you are the Market Garden fanatic and expert but sadly it isn't  :P

Anyway, thats true, this Septembre was extremely sunny and I believe that back in 1944 the Septembre also turned out to be pretty awesome. Though we don't have neon-green grass. We only got that after Tsjernobyl.

well I think with that an affection of Arnhem he's likely to have some interest in OMG related scenarios as well  :D sort of like, if you dig zombie movies, you won't mind the occasional werewolf  8)
