defiantly
Hehe that's funny cause it was shot down by a defiant.

Still, next time when it isn't a coincidental pun you should spell it like "definitely".

Interesting.

The Do-17 and others has always been my favorite german bomber and one of my overall favorite aircraft

So if it was to appear in FH2, you wouldn't claim axis bias? :P

Sure you devs may refuse to add fancy allied stuff, british armoured cars, more churchills, churchills on correct maps but you do add it for germans (jk)
But NEVER EVER will i say german bias when you decide to add =
-german bombers(on condition allied bombers come to
-MOAR DRILLINGS
-LUUUCCHS
-correct foreign weapons for germans

All fine by me  ;)  as long as the allies get there deserved counterpart

The guy in the video said though, they would not restore it to perfect condition, since they would have to replace so much, it would essentially be a replica.

But still, it would be existing

There is no Do17 replica at this moment

Another one is the Do 215 in front of friesland in holland. While this one is 2, it appears to be better preserved

I've gotta say I'm kinda disappointed that it isn't going to be restored. A fully restored aircraft leaves a more lasting impression on a visitor then a preserved original with the paint work largely gone, various pieces missing (like the rudder or windows), and just looking unloved.

When I go to aeronautical museums, and see "dead" aircraft like that, I can't help but get a tear in my eye. :-\

Oh god...
The NZ News website stuff.co.nz refers to the story as "Nazi warplane lying off Kent coast is intact".
*facepalm* "HERP DERP! It's from WW2 and it's German therefore it must be referred to as 'Nazi!!!"

It's on the same level of stupidity as referring to something as being 'gay' when said object cannot have a sexual orientation i.e. a book.

The words "Axis bias" and "Dornier 17" should never be used in the same sentence.  ;D

Personally i'd like to see it restored, however i respect the decision to conserve it. I just hope it can be recovered ASAP to prevent further damage.

If they would want to do that they should just make a replica. Theres no way you can restore this. In the end you just replace everything, that's a damn shame and waste.
