Adding new materials map side?

Can this be done?  I made the new material in the editor and ripped out the code and put it in a tweak file ahead of the weapon I made.

Really nothing from the great and wise FH community?   :(  Ahh well I will fish around the BF2 editor forums and see if I get a bite.  Not the end of the world anyway.  I may just stick with the most FU projectiles that FH/BF2 has to offer instead.  At this point I just really want to find out if it is possible for future reference.  It has kinda gotten person and all. ;)

Feel free it is all map side and it is a hoot to toy around with!   ;D  Only about 4MB's so I can drop it to you on MSN sometime if you want.  It is just a combo of someones snazzy particle effects that some BF2 guy made long ago and the FH devs arty that I have twisted together. 

Sadly even if I could find a way to add/alter a material map side (It seems I can use a tweak file for at least some of it) I can't seem to get the explosion to penetrate EVERYTHING like I want.   :'(  It feels kinda lame when Armageddon is taking place above my head and I am doing some duck and cover shit in a trench at ground zero.  So if anybody has any clue about how to make an uber penetration material I would love to hear it.

Now I just need to dress this pig up and I will be golden.

Anyhow......For those that care I had to do a work about on the material issue and now have things working the way god intended it to.  It is a mix of materials and effects.  The end result is people and vehicles get dead! 



I kinda want a bit of feedback on this thing so I will post a link of my WIP for people to try in a day or two.  The arty nuke effect is a pile of work from some BF2 guy named circ with some code from the FH2 devs and a little bit from myself.   More to come....................

If you want to play with the nuke in a local game remember to type sv.numplayersneededtostart 1 in the console.  Make yourself the commander and get to Observation point.   Use commander arty like normal just remember to drop it like 2 or 3 grids away from yourself.  Please feel free one and all to poke about the map and recommend any changes.  I am kinda holding off on a final lightmap until I am sure everything is just right.  A shiny penny to the one that finds the don't ask don't tell brits  (when you see them you will know  ;)).
