2.25 maps crashing.

I've been getting frequent crashes on the 2.25 maps, Operation: Cobra for example loads fine up to 62% then instantly crashes to desktop, same with a few other maps. Any ideas on this???

Try running in windowed mode It may give you an error log you couldn't see before.

I always wanted to try lmgtfy :P

Well they ran fine right after I downloaded it, I played a few rounds on them, then a day later, it kept crashing. Also I do run the game through the Admin, since that's the only way the game will launch on Vista.


I have a Dell Studio XPS 435MT Vista

Proscessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920@ 2.67GHz 

RAM: 4.00 GB

what do you mean "keep crashing" ?

You mean you get an instant CDT when trying to start up the game, get a crash after you loaded a map, or crashed during playing the game ? multiplayer or singleplayer ?

you did patch up correctly to 2.25 did you ?

Yeah I have the maps for 2.25, some work, most dont. When I load one of the screwy maps up, it gets to a certian point, then crashes to desktop.

not all maps have proper singleplayer support yet and will crash at some point
in multiplayer they should work well though
