Error DirectX version 9.0c

hello community,
i installed BF2, than download the launcher, after installation i start the game and this error pops up



can someone help me, i tryed to install patch 1.5 new, the game new, direct x 9.0c new but nothing works, sry for my englisch

Did you install BF2 correctly?

Before installing Forgotten Hope 2, make sure your Battlefield 2 installation is up to date. FH2 requires Battlefield 2 patched to version 1.5.

Remember that you have to apply patch 1.41 before patch 1.5.

i installed only the game, after that i downloaded 1.5 patch but cant install cause the message your game is up to date, this is my version ....

now i installed 1.41^and then 1.5 again and it works

I've recently encountered this error as well after reinstalling BF2.

Things tried so far:

- Running FH2.exe in XP compatability mode (results in CTD).

- Complete re-installation of BF2, patches 1.41, 1.5 and the latest version of FH2 (both using the launcher and manual download). Regular BF2 seems to work fine.

- Re-installation of the latest version of DX9.

- Editing Direct using regedit (as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xOkpAPyf8Q&ab_channel=live2hack).

You are running in administrator mode?

Absolutely. I also made sure the relevant .exe files were also in admin mode.
