Suggestions to reduce a little of the waiting time between map end -> next map start

map   end : reduce victory screen time some seconds
map  load : faster server map load (ssd raid, ramdisk etc.)
map start :  reduce commander selection time ex. 30 seconds :-)

Why ? : To spend more time gaming than waiting
If you game FH2 a lot it could be hours within year :-)

Copies game files from hdd into ram and makes game load times a bit faster than ssd
Im starting to game direct x 9 games in win7 again :-)

It does not matter much in FH2 since fast mapload will just make you wait almost a minute in map start
But in other games like civ, nfsw, sfiw it almost removed load times completely :-)

Make a donation button
It should be possible to donate money ex. server hosting, better server, homepage update, etc.

it could be done by creditcard or by sms

People who support should get a medal or something :-)

Nice thread.

I like FH2 as it is. Not being a money machine makes it priceless

It might also be possible to make an economic concept in FH2 and turn it into capitalisme and ownership

ex. Some people might want a stalingrad map. A person creates a money bowl and puts in 20$. Others like the idea and also puts money in.
When there is enough money in the bowl. Someone will try to make the map to collect the money. And the owners could be the moneymen or creator :-)

windows xp 32 bit can only use 4gb ram + 4gb as ramdisk or cache in hidden memory if you have more than 4gb ram

have not looked into load times win7 vs xp yet  :-)
To me its all about gfx and OS micro lag/stuttering.
Everything looks a little sharper and better in xp without vsync enabled when doing fast moves, like turning 180 or 360 degree in game

What do You mean ?

Is cpu usage only 20% in taskmgr ?
Cpu is only running 2ghz, but I have a 2.5ghz cpu ?
Cpu is 4 core, 8 threads, but I can only see 1core or 2core utilized ?

I have ping 70-110 4G modem + extended antenna. Dependig on weather. mostly around 80
nLite windows 32bit Multiboot for Gaming direct x 9 games
My rig is Uber clocked and tweaked.

I agree that overclocking is not for every one.
Fine tuning and tweaking OS system software is nesseary to get every penny out the pc you paid for-)

Just made another windows xp 32bit lite install for FH2 yesterday and I couldnt start game without CTD until I disabled a Human Interface Devices
"HID-complaint device" with the Details  "HID\VID_181C&PID_0C04\7&320216A6&0&0000" in dev mgr.
Not sure if your case is the same, but you could try it out :-)
