How to bail out
« on: 18-05-2011, 03:05:05 »
I notice I often die by hitting the airplane's tail trying to bail out (usually with the Me-109), so i what this thread to be about how and when to bail out of an airplane. But first thing's first, why am I always hitting the tail and dying when trying to bail?

Never happened to me. But the best bet would be to bank the plane prior to bailing.

Or else turn the plane upside down before bailing. Happy parachuting!  :)

That still doesn't work for me on the ME-109...  :P
The tail of the airplane keeps killing me!

put the nose of the aircraft down before bailing, you shouldn't have that problem. Also try to put it in such a position, so it does damage to ground units (like a tank or AA gun for instance)

usually you need to slow down until the canopy opens and then bail.
