We'd also may be interested in donations from individuals in return for admin rights, maybe...
Question: How does having enough disposable income to donate money to strangers indicate that a person would be a good and fair arbitrator of the rules of a server?
This has always bugged me and makes no sense what-so-ever. When I used to play Counter-Strike, every server had idiot Admins who abused their powers but nothing could be done about it because they had handed over enough money that no one (except the players) seemed to care. If you are going to give people the power to regulate your server and make sure that everything runs smoothly and everyone plays by the rules, what does money have to do with it? Wouldn't it make more sense for Admins to be players who frequent the server, know the rules, are known to be fair, and are dedicated to helping everyone have a good time?
I'm sorry for butting into your business, but it kind of struck a nerve with my past gaming experiences. Notice how I said I "used to" play Counter-Strike? I don't play it anymore. Partially because of idiot Admins, but more because I found FH2 (
). Anyway, I'm sorry. I'll let you do your thing. Good Luck with your endeavor.
