Omaha Beach would be a great crowd-pleaser for Americans.

As I'm sure you know, one of the turning points of the assault happened when the Allied destroyers came in close to the beach and put direct fire on the German defenses.  You can incorporate this into the map like the P51 strike on the Ramelle-Neuville map.  Then have the action flip from the beach to the bluffs.

Have there been any thoughts about 16 or 32 player layer sizes for this map? Alternate map layers bring so much variation and added play-ability, especially when the server numbers drop.

So I guess quarterly updates are the norm now.

Great question & in addition, will the Devs release at least 1 map that takes advantage of the 128 player technology that is currently available?

Then reshow something from more than 4 years ago and pretend it's new. That stuff works.

But there is still so much stuff needed for a patch with Eastern Front! I am getting worried more and more... I miss the days when we used to have a news update every week...

But I wish luck to the remaining developers.

lol turkish, you're a real "oldfag" here and miss old times? Obviously not all things have been shown (at least not clearly and directly, some things were left for conspiracies etc) and remember that Eastern Front isn't only about Continuation War. Actually, there is so much cool things (but in WIP status) which sooner or later will be shown that you will have at least few chances to jizz your pants.

The days I am talking about was around a year and a half ago. Of course there are people who have been around for a longer time than me. I am not an "oldfag", I just miss the times before the stalemate in the updates.

It is good to hear there is very good stuff which are Work in Progress, thank you for the information.

Beregil, Schism, I love you gentlemen. Seriously  :-* . Also, I would like to thank the entire developer team for not neglecting the British faction.

I believe Schism/Rvtl is Dutch. ;)

Anyway, I think everyone forgets how difficult or time consuming it is to develop a mod or a game. Seriously, I think the devs and forum moderators have done a good job of posting updates whenever needed, we cannot expect them to give us a smokin' update every couple weeks or so. I guess if anyone is all time consumed with one mod or game's community you will inevitably get boredom.

I really cannot stand people who nag at the devs who they themselves do not develop maps, models, coding etc (that goes for any kind of developing). If you want to have more updates and help out a mod or game that if you feel the need, go for it!

When 2.5 comes we definitely will forget all this stalemate of "no-updates", and we will be praising the devs instead of nagging at them.

Devs you have done a wonderful job of developing one of the best mods, and this goes for betatesters that find issues among certain bugs, so keep it up!
