My only meaning to take this away was because the hit detection is as bad as it is. You know how awesome this game would be if the rifle went where you were pointing it, even if moving.

Problem is, the game can't portray the bouncing and shaking in the model of you actually running.  Instead, this is portrayed by the crosshairs.  Just as well, You normally can't fire a rifle when running, because its incredibly uncomfortable to hold a rifle the way it is in non-iron sights ingame for very long.  Normally, when running, the rifle is held with one hand in the middle near the leg, across your chest, or over a shoulder.

Yes, I also dislike the hit detection, which makes the aiming & shooting no more challenging.

You know what might be interesting? If, specifically for maps like Berlin where many of the German soldiers were fresh recruits, the rifle sway was increased to simulate their fear and inexperience in combat. There's probably some Eastern Front maps where this might apply to fresh Russian recruits as well.

Rifle sway goes in a /\ form. When its at the top, where you aim is where you hit (also take into account ping delay, bullet speed and bullet drop).

Why was this implemented if the bullet doesnt go where the rifle is pointing? And how is the average player supposed to know this?

Because it was the best way to take a step back from the insanely accurate FH1 rifles that were too easy to master. It was usually no match to hit an enemy on the horizon that was just a pixel or two in size. You could almost count on a certain death when running out in the open field, or when peeking out of a crater.
In FH2 it's a lot better now. You actually have a slight chance of surviving when running out in the open.
And the average player isn't always supposed to know everything about everything.
A master of the rifle would know that, ping, bullet drop and bullet speed must be taken into account when aiming. The average player will have to settle with knowing that were you aim, is where you will - more or less - hit.
There has to be some depth to discover, the rifle is after all the most common weapon in FH2.

It should be hard to aim.  Image trying to shoot a target 100-200m away: Easy, not pressure or stress.  But when you add the factor of enemy gun fire wizzing by your head and seeing dead and dying men around.  And the adrenaine rushing through vains.  It would not be easy.

But shooting is still too easy atm. We are always able to make a 200m kill with one shot by the bolt-action rifle if the target is stationary. The rifle is still somewhat like a laser gun. So I strongly suggest to increase the weapon sway when iron-sight aiming.

a target at 200m is not hard to hit...come on have you never used a Lee Enfield before???
Christ i used to put plates down at 20m with one shot every time with an SLR 7.62 and the old Lee Enfield was a lot more accurate...lie down aim control your breathing and on breathing out sueeze off the shot....nowt hard about that.
a moving person was slightly more difficult but just aim off slightly left or right and you still can slot the bugger at 200 easy
