Wouldn't it be cool...

... for Forgotten Hope have diffrent epilogues after each battle. You know, how things went after a certain result of a match. For example in Op. Cobra. Diffrent outcome means diffrent course.

Allied Victory (When tickets ratio on the winning team is above 120)

After failure of both British and Canadian attempts to break out from the bogades and hegerows of Normandy and a month waiting, the task to lead the attack fell to General Patton and his American armoured group. In the break of dawn, American forces all along the front started fighting against the German Panthers and AT-Positions in deadly clashes. Steel met steel and casualties mounted initially in both sides, but after succesful capture of strategic points, the American warmachine started to get the upper hand. German troops lacked the material superiority, what made defending nigh impossible. In the air, American fighters secured air superiority by sheer numbers and even the most talented Luftwaffe pilots had to bow down, if not to interceptors then by quad .50 Cal's. Germans were pushed back succesfully and road to Paris was open. In the German OkW, this defeat was met with fear and most realist saw, that the end is near. And it wouldn't be desided on France, but in Germany.

Allied Minor Victory (When tickets ratio on the winning team is 120 or lower)

After failure of both British and Canadian attempts to break out from the bogades and hegerows of Normandy and a month waiting, the task to lead the attack fell to General Patton and his American armoured group. In the break of dawn, American forces all along the front started fighting against the German Panthers and AT-Positions in deadly clashes. Steel met steel and casualties mounted. Neither side seemed to get the upper hand. When Americans captured a point, Panzers struck elsewhere and recaptured it. German troops lacked the material superiority, what made defending nigh impossible, but with good dug-in positions and the advantage of home terrain and experience, Wermacht managed to hurt Americans several times. In the air, American fighters secured air superiority by sheer numbers and even the most talented Luftwaffe pilots had to bow down... after many precious lost fighters and pilots. Germans were pushed back to town streets, where the Germans held their ground vigoriously. In the end, Germans ran out of reserves and they had to fall back and road to Paris was opened with disasterous amount of dead bodies and lost tanks. In the German OkW, this defeat was met with bitterness, but with some hope lied. If army could keep up with this kind of successes, there perhaps could be a small chance of peace in the West. The Red Wave in the east was a lot bigger treath to the nation...

Axis Victory

After failure of both British and Canadian attempts to break out from the bogades and hegerows of Normandy and a month waiting, the task to lead the attack fell to General Patton and his American armoured group. In the break of dawn, American forces all along the front started fighting against the German Panthers and AT-Positions in deadly clashes. Steel met steel and casualties mounted initially in both sides. In the end, the best cutting edge of the Shermans rolling towards Germans was lost, and American sons were left open to meet the rolling Panters with infantry weapons. That wasn't merely enough. German troops lacked the material superiority, what made defending nigh impossible, but with initial victories and Prussian military valore, anything was possible. In the air, American fighters were stronger in numbers, but not in talent. German experienced pilots shot down numerous fighters and almost secured the air superiority. The defeat hit General Patton's mental health too hard and he had to resing. Winston Churchill made a speech to the British parliament, where he asked permission to start initial peacetalks with the Reichstag. In the German OkW, this stunning victory against all odds was met with reliefe and disbelief. In the end, breaktrough did happen by the lead of Field Marshall Montgomery. Paris was liberated and the Germans were pushed behind the border. A cease-fire began in mid-November. Now, the Germans can move their precious Tigers and Panzergrenadiers to the east, where they were desperately needed...

It would appear AFTER a match in Op. Cobra.

But you you know that the server starts loading the next map right after the current match finishes (sometimes I even have to take a screenshot to see playerscores) who would have time to read that whole text?

But you know, that I did NOT plan these kinds of texts to be in the game in the first place. I made them just for fun.
