FH2 Updater stuck at "Downloading 3.1.173 torrent file"

Hi, been playing FH2 since release.

I cannot get the launcher to work. Whenever I attempt to download the game, the window merely displays "Downloading 3.1.173 torrent file". I doubt something so small as a torrent file takes an hour to download as it's been stuck there for quite a while. It doesn't proceed to download the actual game archive, and there's no progress bar or indication of download speeds either, so I'm guessing it just isn't functioning properly. What should I do?

Yes. That initially didn't work despite numerous router resets, pc reboots and restarts. Now it miraculously started downloading, so I guess the problem is solved.

Well, I had to take a break from downloading, and it seems like the same problem surfaced again. Quite an annoying bug, I'll just have to hope that it starts to work again after numerous restarts.

If you have an torrent client, the torrent itself should reside at $User\AppData\Local\Forgotten_Hope\updater\9c4a541a7a18e0aca27a8a70b61fd51e

Then just point it at the fh2 directory and it should carry on where left.

We actually have two different locations for the launchers torrent file. One gets chosen randomly, if it doesnt work, the Launcher should use the other one.

You could try to check if you can manually download the files. Maybe one of the locations is blocked for you somehow?
