I'm taking my own freedom
puttin' it in my song
singing loud and strong
proving all day long
I'm takin' my freedom
puttin' it in my stroll
I'll be hop-steppin' y'all
lettin' the joy unfold

Wouldn't this be the strangest thing to see in game?

Plane dives down
Drops the bomb
Massive flames
Tanks explode
Soldiers burn
After the smoke fades you see...
some nice green shrubs and a pretty red flower.

Would be even more bizarro to me than HE shells hitting a wagon and doing nothing to it...

Napalm in WW2 was with short duration and couldnt damage many things; including tanks. Napalm flames burned at least 10 seconds. It was in Vietnam where Napalm really was a nasty and efficient weapon.

Oh you are completely correct. it would HAVE to leave a trace, but not possible in the bf2 engine (at least not without huge amounts of work, right?)

Well you can have destroyable objects from what I have seen in vBF2 but making an entire town out of that would murder most computers

You can have individual buildings but the coding involved kills the map (crashes and lag) if used in mass.
If FH2 ever does include destructive structures a destroyable Church tower should be first on the list cause IT WOULD BE EPIC.
Michael Wittmann's gunner, Bobby Woll, was known to be an excellent Marksman.
He could hit targets at range even on the move.

ONly problem I think (other then that whole massive amounts of unplayable lag) is that the church tower would be destroyed immediately the moment its sighted, thus losing any point to the idea of having a high up position, as it would just always be destroyed the moment the game commences.
