WHAT THE HELL happened to that tank?  :o
Jet of molten metal and super hot gasses from the HEAT warhead burned through the armour and ignited ammunition and fuel inside of the tank.
Let mortal heroes sing your fame

how that guy came out alive is like a small miracle. What a horrible death that must be, cooked in your own tank. It's also a bit weird that the other 2 tanks are doing virtually nothing. then again, I guess they can't really do anything since they seemed trapped without any infantry support.

To the end of the video they looked like they were retreating. And yes, its sill that they go in a city without infantry support. (Or maybe they did, but infantry died? Everything is possible in war)

The only RPG that can deal with modern MBT's...

but this video is highly suspicious of being fake. Analyse have shown that it is not really an RPG29 projectile hitting the tank

-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

The first part of the video has nothing to do with the T72 going up in flames. I think there was an investigation by military freaks to discover what AT gun was used to destroy that tank, but i don't remember which gun it was.

It's just like the famous footage of the Panther in Cologne, the difference is that this one is in HD.

Looking at his clothes i think he was climbing out after the impact and was about halfway out when the tank blew up and pushed him all the way to safety. He seems rather confused the first few seconds. Looks like only 1 made it out alive.

So i was sitting by the window, looking at the incoming thunder storm and THEN A GIANT LIGHTNING RIGHT ABOVE MY FUCKING HOUSE.

But it lasted for a second or two...

My guess is that the top hatch was open and the guy was thrown out by the "main" blast ahead of the fireball. Doubtful he made the escape himself, the initial blast would have incapacitated him at least momentarily. Anyway, before he hit the ground everyone else was already charbroiled meat on the walls. The initial hit happens at 0:58, secondaries start at 1:02ish with smoke coming from the main gun too (without it even being fired). At 1:05 it looks like the entire autoloader's ammo carousel detonates at once (and the ragdoll hits the ground), instantly cooking a tank-sized KFC meal. Remember that T-72 does not have compartmentalized ammo storage or blowout panels or the like, so top hits will most often penetrate directly into the autoloader's ammo carousel that's under the crew (horizontal hits are less likely to do this at once). Of course, the crew who were in the way of the blast wave that set off the ammo were dead even before that. Also, some extra ammo is commonly stored around the turret and hull as well, and those will go off much easier in any penetration (could be that these go off at 1:02, and then detonate the main storage).

In-depth analysis here: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=efb_1359418903

"Slowly burning to death" does not fortunately happen (what you see later is the fuel and MG ammo catching fire, everyone still inside is already dead at that point) in a tank with non-compartmentalized ammo bays.

I bought a cockatiel yesterday :). It's 6 months old and I named it Teppo. Pics might or might not appear here in near future. Depends if I can get camera from somewhere.

Well, I got a camera now. Teppo is never still for very long, so this is only pic that isn't just blur  ::).
