Would anybody happen to know the name of a particular cold war movie I'm looking for?

As I roughly remember it, nuclear war goes on but the problem is not the nukes, its a cloud of radiation thats starting to blanket the planet. A submarine commander and his men go to the north pole or something to escape the balnket of readtion.

Any ideas? I remember having stopped watching the movie halfway due to length  ???

On The Beach

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0219224/

Took me forever to find it because i thought it had Sam Niell in it, but i ended up looking at a list of submarine movies and found it. watched it when i was about 12, pretty sure it gave me a nightmare lol.

Still want to see True Grit and Tron Legacy because of the Dude!

Winnebago Man, 2009

The first 30 min were fun and then it all goes bad. It seems the director wanted to make some great life story documentary but he killed it with his over directing.

4/10

Just go with it: 8/10
Watched it yesterday with three other friends and I really liked this movie. It´s really funny, has a hand full of romantic scenes (so you could watch it with a girl) and Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Decker as really hot.
I found myself laughing really hard and then a few seconds later staring at Brooklyn Deckers smooth body, so it´s actually a great men´s movie in disguise (just don´t get caught staring at boobs if you watch it with a girl ;)).
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

Office Space
- I see this movie once every year, kinda. It's still awesome after all these years. Sure, the movie got a typical 90's look but that does not stop the movie from being great. Good actors, a beautiful Jennifer Aniston doing her "Girl Nex Door" look and a great story with some amazing comedy.

If you work in an office all day, this movie might not be the best movie if you have had a bad day  ;D

The thing is, Bob. It's not that I'm lazy. I simply just don't care! I have 8 different bosses right now.

Repo Man
- Strange early 80's flick starring Emilio Estevez and a mysterious car with something special inside the trunk.

5 out of 10

And today I'm beginning a "New Hollywood" period. First of I'm gonna start with "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?" and then I got like 30 movies to go, so expect some spamming coming up!

Due Date

Finally got to watch it, two genius actors make up for a very good watch. I thoroughly enjoyed this and had a few good laughs even though it sometimes has a very big movie feeling. 'Oh no hes leaving him! Oh wait hes coming back, I never saw that coming  ::)'

Good movie though, certainly worth downl.. buying. 7/10.

Drag Me To Hell

Holy mother of god! Weird, strange, what the fuck. I have no idea what really happened but that movie was fun.
The plot twist is one I didn't saw coming, made me sad and happy. Sad because well, watch the movie.. Happy because I knew I hadn't been watching a mainstream movie but a very entertaining and original film.

If you see it in a store/rental/whatever, just grab it and watch it. It's cool! And the girl is hot!
